The Gunners are in fine form ahead of the game and have been boosted by the news that several key players have returned to training in the past week.

With that said, manager Arsene Wenger has some sort of a selection problems on his hands ahead of the game against a Liverpool side that has only lost once since December in the league.

Here is how we think the home side will line up against the Reds.

GK) – David Ospina

The Colombian is the club’s number one for league games and there is no reason for that to change.

RB) – Hector Bellerin

Spaniard should get the nod over Calum Chambers and fit-again Mathieu Debuchy.

CB) – Gabriel

The January signing is starting to find his feet in England, big call to start over Per Mertesacker but his pace should give him the edge in order to combat against a quick Liverpool attack.

CB) Laurent Koscielny

When fit he plays. Will be expected to be the leader of the back four if Mertesacker doesn’t start.

LB) – Nacho Monreal

Has done little wrong in his battle to become the first-choice left back at the club, should start over Kieran Gibbs again.

MC) – Aaron Ramsey

The Welshman picked a up a injury scare on international duty last week, but it appears he’s O. Getting back to his best with three goals in his last four appearances for club and country and scored in the corresponding fixture last season.

MC) – Francis Coquelin

Has undergone a huge transformation in his Arsenal career since returning from a loan spell at Charlton, and will need to be on his game to handle the threat of Phillipe Coutinho.

AMC) – Mesut Ozil

The man the Gunners will look to inspire them to victory, has been very good since returning from injury at the start of the year and will look to keep his impressive run of form going.

AMR – Danny Welbeck

An injury doubt, but if he’s fit enough to start then expect Wenger to give him the nod over Theo Walcott.

AML – Alexis

Has gone off the boil in recent weeks, but is still a match-winner, he and Welbeck on the flanks will look to push up against Liverpool’s wing-backs which could be a key battle.

ST – Olivier Giroud

Barclays Premier League player of the month, five goals in his last four starts and is a shoe-in to start against the Reds.
