Liverpool contract rebel and England international Raheem Sterling has spoken about his dream of playing abroad, naming prospective suitors for his signature Real Madrid as a possible destination – though stressing he remains content at Anfield according to the Express.

Sterling has so far refused to sign a new contract with Liverpool, alerting the attention of Europe’s top sides to his possible availability, including Real Madrid.
The flying winger has since admitted his desire to play ‘somewhere sunny’, though he is currently happy trying to win trophies at Anfield.
He said, “Everyone’s dream growing up is seeing themselves in an away kit somewhere in a sunny country.
“But, in reality, I’m happy to be playing for Liverpool and trying to win trophies.”
The winger is doing his best to ignore the transfer speculation which has surrounded Sterling’s future with the Merseyside team, “I try to kill it off, but I don’t think the public can see it that way.
“I think they just see it as this 20-year-old boy being greedy.
“I just want to take the time to think about what I’ve achieved in my career so far, where I need to go and what I need to do to get better as a player.”
If Sterling does decide to leave Liverpool, the team will no doubt feel his absence after his huge impact this season. He has played 28 times in the Premier League this term, scoring six and assisting seven goalsas his side fight for Champions League football next season.
