How Eden Hazard could fit into Bayern Munich XI following Chelsea exit speculation

Eden Hazard is hopeful Belgium can make the most of their 'Golden Generation' of star players - in contrast to England.

Sport Bild reported that Bayern Munich were planning an audacious swoop for Vfl Wolfsburg star Kevin de Bruyne, as a replacement to wingers Franck Ribery or Arjen Robben, however the reports have been slammed – by Ribery himself.

The France international stated that “Arjen and I are not done yet”, and revealed his apprehension over the quality of Kevin de Bruyne to perform at the Allianz Arena, saying “He’s not a player who takes the ball and starts dribbling, and likes to have the opponent in front of him,” as quoted by ESPN.

De Bruyne’s super when he has the space on the counter attack, but at Bayern you usually only have three, four metres — no huge spaces. But he is a good player, and he is still young. He can still learn.”

Nonetheless, Ribery said that Bayern should try and sign Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, but jokingly confessed that he would be pricey, “He attacks all of the time. He loves to run at his opponent.

“But he plays at Chelsea. This could be very expensive for Bayern.”

In light of his comments, we take a look at how the Belgium starlet could fit into Pep Guardiola’s side:

Hazard would complete a formidable attacking trio, and with 22-year-old Mario Gotze, and 26-year-old Robert Lewandowski, his addition to the squad would make for a youthful front three – not to mention a world-class attack – responsible for scoring a combined 48 goals this season.

The Daily Star claim that PSG are also interested in Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard.
