Chelsea set to revive £20m move for explosive Brazilian

Chelsea are set to rekindle a move for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Douglas Costa after a deciding against a move for the Brazilian in January, opting to bring in Juan Cuadrado instead, according to the latest reports in the Mirror.

After Jose Mourinho decided to offload Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah, it was inevitable that Chelsea would be looking to replace the wide-men and Costa was one of the names mentioned, the Mirror suggests.

Chelsea have been visibly conforming to UEFA’s FFP regulations in recent months, consciously balancing the books as they looked to sell players before making any move potential arrivals. In the summer, David Luiz and Romelu Lukaku were sold for large sums of money which made the signings of Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas financially possible.
