Arsenal and England winger Theo Walcott has advised in-form Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane not to get carried away by his immense success on the pitch this season, the Daily Mirror reports.

Kane, 21, has scored 29 goals in all competitions for Tottenham, establishing himself as one of the best young strikers in Europe and forcing his way into the England international fold already.
The talented forward then marked his senior debut for the Three Lions with a goal against Lithuania in Friday night’s 4-0 win at Wembley, continuing his remarkable rise this season.
Walcott has been there himself as a young player, gaining lots of attention for Southampton as a 16-year-old and being called up to England before even appearing in an Arsenal shirt for the 2006 World Cup.
The 26-year-old has now given his words of caution to Kane in terms of keeping his feet on the ground amidst all the hype, backing his international colleague to focus on his game.
“You need to make sure it doesn’t go to your head,” Walcott said.
“Harry is not that sort of guy. He’s very nice and down to earth. Just play your football, that’s all you need to do. Don’t worry about anything else.
“He’s dealt with it all season. He’s been scoring goals and the pressure has been on him and he’s dealt with it very well. He’s a very level-headed guy.”
