Why Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti could replace Manuel Pellegrini as Man City manager
Here is the list of those who may be readying themselves for the move as soon as the curtain falls on this season:
Manuel Pellegrini (Manchester City)
The Chilean has struggled to garner the same support that he received last season, when he led Manchester City to Premier League and Capital One Cup triumph. With the side now seemingly having to settle for a trophyless season – unless they can pull off an amazing fightback in the league – Pellegrini may be on his way out.
The Telegraph suggests that a return to Spain is highly likely.
Sam Allardyce (West Ham United)
Despite working wonders in the Premier League, that saw West Ham sit in the top four on Christmas Day, Sam Allardyce may pay the price for a fairly poor 2015. Just three wins this year have seen the Hammers slide down the table, and Big Sam appears to have been scapegoated.
It is widely believed that Sunderland may want to talk to him at the end of the season, depending on whether the Black Cats manage to stay up.
