Leonardo Jardim’s side are through to their quarter-finals of the Champions, but their European success risks coming as a detriment to their Ligue 1 campaign.

Monaco beat Arsenal over two legs to progress to the final eight of Europe’s premier competition. Having hammered the Gunners 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium, the Club of the Principality stumbled at home. They lost 2-0, but still advanced on away goals.

They now face Juventus over two legs, the first on April 14 and the second, a week later, on the 22nd.

Monaco had asked that their league fixture against Montpellier, scheduled for April, be postponed, but their request has been rejected by the LFP, according to L’Equipe.

They will now have to play the fixture—as planned—on April 7, before heading to Caen three days later.

In three weeks, between April 1 and the 22nd, Monaco are due to play six matches.
