Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge out for a month with ANOTHER injury
The 25-year-old had only recently begun to show signs of returning to full fitness in the last couple of games, scoring two in his last four apperances for the Reds after , missing five months of the season because of an ongoing thigh problem.
He is expected to miss a crucial part of Liverpool’s run-in, including a trip to in-form Arsenal on Saturday week, then the FA Cup quarter-final replay against Blackburn Rovers the following Wednesday.
The news will also come as a bitter blow for manager Brendan Rodgers, who will also be without skipper Steven Gerrard and centre back Martin Skrtel through suspension while there are injury doubts over Adam Lallana and Raheem Sterling.
Here is how a selection of fans have reacted to the news of Sturridge’s latest setback:
So Sturridge injured again, could be 4 weeks out? Is it time #LFC looked elsewhere for a striker?? I know I’m losing patience!

Sturridge has shown this season through repeated injury that we cant rely on him as our main man. We must buy a world class striker.

I’m not even surprised anymore. Sturridge seems like he’s made from glass.

If we’re going to pay Sturridge £150k per week when his legs are made of cheese strings, we should probably give Sterling something similar.
