Liverpool centre-back Martin Skrtel has been charged by the FA for his stamp on Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea in the last minute of the Anfield clash on Sunday afternoon.

Liverpool veteran Steven Gerrard had earlier been sent off for a stamp on Ander Herrera, the club captain being red carded within a minute of coming on as a half-time sub, and it’s likely Skrtel could receive a sizable ban for his actions.
