Ligue 1 players Edinson Cavani of Paris Saint-Germain and Diego Rolan of Girondins de Bordeaux have been called up by Uruguay for their upcoming international friendly.

Opponents in the league last weekend, PSG’s Cavani and Bordeaux’s Rolan will be teammates at the end of the month when Uruguay face Morocco.
28-year-old Cavani is an experienced international who has featured for the South Americans at two World Cups, but 21-year-old Rolan is still taking his maiden steps as a Uruguay player, having only five caps to date.

Both played on Sunday as Bordeaux dented PSG’s title hopes with a thrilling 3-2 victory at the Stade Chaban-Delmas. Cavani came on as a substitute for Laurent Blanc’s side, while Rolan proved to be the match-winner, finding the net with Bordeaux’s third in the dying minutes of the match.
Uruguay are to face Morocco in Agadir on March 28.
