City face Barcelona in the second leg last 16 tie at the Nou Camp on Wednesday night, and after losing 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium last month, the Spaniards are firm favourites to complete the job on home turf.

But Toure, who is available for the game after missing the first leg against his old club through suspension, remains confident that the reigning Premier League champions can overcome the odds to book a place in the quarter-finals:

“We have got a few fantastic players at City and I think it is a 50/50 game because they won [the first leg] 2-1. The Ivorian told Nissan (via the Daily Star)

“It is always difficult to play against Barcelona when you have to run after the score. But in football anything can happen.” He added.

The visitors head to Spain on the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat against Burnley at the weekend, which dented their title hopes and need to score at least twice against the La Liga league leaders to avoid a repeat of last seasons elimination at the same stage.
