Manchester United could be handed a major boost in their pursuit of Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale with the Daily Mirror reporting he is ready to quit the club this summer.

The 25-year-old is undergoing a poor run of form at the moment, and has been the victim of boos by the Bernabeu fans as well as some harsh negative criticism from the Spanish press.
It has now emerged that Bale would be open to returning to the Premier League this summer if the right offer comes along, with United known to be his biggest admirers.
The Welshman previously shone in England with Tottenham Hotspur, but snubbed United in favour of Real when he left White Hart Lane in 2013.
