With fellow relegation battlers Toulouse and Lorient facing winnable matches, Evian cannot afford to drop more points.
When: 7.00 pm GMT, 14 March 2015
Where: Stade de la Beaujoire, Nantes
Evian Thonon Gaillard find themselves under pressure as they head to Nantes in Ligue 1 on Saturday evening.
The Cross of the Savoie currently sit in 16th place in the French top table, having accumulated 32 points from 28 matches. However, while they are out of the drop zone at the moment, victories for Toulouse and Lorient (facing Lens and Caen respectively) would see them dragged into the mire.
Pascal Dupraz will surely be expecting his side to get something out of a contest against Nantes, who, like Evian, were beaten 3-1 in the league last weekend.
Yacine Bammou does return for the Canaries, but Michel Der Zakarian will be concerned with the number of absentees his side have to contend with. Four players are suspended, including centre-back Papy Djilobodji and midfielder Jordon Veretout, while Johan Audel and Olivier Veigneau are injured.
Evian have concerns of their own, with Olivier Sorlin added to the injury list this week.
