Despite being able to recall Herve Bazile, who has been absent since the end of February with a knee injury, Caen will have to do without the suspended attacker Lenny Nangis.
The forward was dismissed against Girondins de Bordeaux last weekend for a nasty foul.
Similarly, while he was declared fit earlier in the week, powerful and effective striker Bengali-Fode Koita will not be risked for the match against the Bretons.
Like Bazile, Koita has been suffering with knee problems and will take no part in the weekend’s fixtures, according to France Football.
This leaves Nicolas Benezet and Sloan Privat, as well as the returning Bazile and Emiliano Sala, as Patrice Garande’s primary striking options.
