Friday evening’s clash will be dedicated to Olympic swimmer Camille Muffat who passed away earlier this week.
When: 8.30 pm GMT+1, 13 March 2015
Where: Allianz Riviera, Nice
OGC Nice welcome En Avant de Guingamp to the Allianz Riviera on Friday evening in a match where football may well take a backseat.
Thoughts will surely be with the family of French Olympic swimmer and gold medalist Camille Muffat who passed away tragically earlier this week when a helicopter carrying her and other French sports starts crashed in Argentina. The group of sporting personalities – including former France international Sylvain Wiltord – were filming a reality TV show.
Nice-born Muffat was an Aiglons fan and the Ligue 1 clash has been dedicated to her. There will be a minute’s silence for the 25-year-old before the match and the hashtag #CamilleUnaDiNoi will be used on social media throughout the contest.
Nice, who currently sit 15th, on 34 points, welcome back Didier Digard and Mathieu Bodmer, although several players, including centre-back Souleymane Diawara and right-back Gregoire Puel, are suspended after the ill-tempered defeat to SC Bastia last weekend.
13th-place Guingamp, who also lost last weekend, will have to do without defenders Ben Angoua and Dorian Leveque.
