Respected Journalist REVEALS Reasons for Man United Star’s Poor Form
However, we’re here to settle the debate and profess that Liverpool are indeed better than Man United.
1. Only one team are true ‘Reds’
Both teams claim to be true ‘Reds’ but on Liverpool have stuck to the tradition over the years whilst Man United have succumbed to commercial pressures to continuously change the colour of their shorts and socks.
2. Undisputed no.1 song in footballing history
There are few better sights in football than the Kop in full voice and belting out You’ll Never Walk Alone. Never before has a song been responsible for winning the European Cup but that was arguably the case on 2005.
Its beats “Attack…..attack, attack, attack” any day.
3. Philosophy
We often hear about the ‘Manchester United way’ but that has since become blurred as Sir Alex Ferguson departed from the dug-out and it has since been replaced by Louis van Gaal’s ‘philosophy’. However, we are yet to witness what this actually entails, with even a five minute period of what a future Van Gaal team would look like not evident.
On the other hand, Rodgers took only 12 months to create a team in his image and Liverpool are now one of, if not the most, entertaining team to watch when in full flow.
4. Real Dynasty
Despite Man United’s prominence among upper echelons of football both domestically and across Europe, the Red Devils cannot point to a dominant era where they were considered the best side in the world.
Under Bill Shankly and later Bob Paisley, Liverpool were at the top of the game and have the medals to prove it.
5. European glory beats domestic triumph
Despite Man United winning two more league titles than their bitter rivals, European glory is clearly the epitome of a player’s career and Liverpool are way ahead in that regard.
Sir Alex Ferguson tried to knock Liverpool off their perch, but didn’t quite complete the job.
