Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has spoken out for the first time since being given a BBC suspension for, apparently, aiming a punch at a producer of the programme.

The controversial figure was immediately suspended after the story broke and it was announced that Top Gear would not be broadcast this weekend.
In typical Jeremy Clarkson style though, speaking to the press he appeared relaxed over the situation saying, “I’m having a nice cold pint waiting for this to blow over.”
Clarkson’s co-presenters seemed equally nonplussed by the furore, aiming facetious tweets at the BBC.
No Top Gear this weekend, apparently. How about 633 Squadron instead? @JeremyClarkson @RichardHammond
