The club of the Champagne region finally ended their long streak without a win with victory over Nantes on Saturday.
Heading into Saturday’s Ligue 1 fixture against Nantes, Stade de Reims had gone eight league games without a win, and nine in all competitions.

However, they shook off their miserable recent form to secure a convincing 3-1 home victory over the Canaries, with goals from Gregory Bourillon, Aissa Mandi and David N’Gog ensuring the three points.
The win-their first in the league in 2015-lifts Reims six points clear of Toulouse and the Ligue 1 relegation zone.
“This victory, even if we would have liked it to have come earlier, has of course boosted everyone,” said coach Jean-Luc Vasseur, as reported by Reims’ official website.
“It’s touched the whole club; the supporters, those who love the club in general, and above all, the players.
“Everyone is positive and motivated for what’s to come.”
