Pippo Inzaghi’s side went down early in the first half to an exquisite Luca Toni penalty before Menez too scored from the spot to get Milan back in it before half time.
And just two minutes into the second half Mexes managed to get the Rossoneri infront after the ball was bungled across the line.
The Frenchman picked up a headed on cross before steadying his feet and firing the ball towards goal. However, it may turn out to be an unfortunate own goal as two Verona defenders attempted to clear it before it crossed the line.
