Paris Saint-Germain’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic Can Play Until He’s 43 Says Agent

Mino Raiola admits that he doesn’t know if the Sweden striker will end his career at Paris Saint-Germain

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola has admitted he doesn’t know whether the Swedish superstar will end his career at Paris Saint-Germain, but has backed him to continue playing until he is into his early 40s.

”Zlatan still has eight years to work,” said Raiola, as quoted by RMC [via footmercato.net], ”we have an agreement. He has worked 15 years for him, now he will work his last eight years for me!
“Afterwards, I don’t know if he will stay at PSG, but he can play until he is 42-43 years old.”
The player agent went on to confirm that Ibrahimovic was happy and flourishing in the French capital and not actively seeking a move away from the Parc des Princes.
”Zlatan has a contract until 2016, he is happy in Paris. He’s trying to do his best all of the time. I think that he’s in prime form. This year there have been some concerns, but right now, it’s fine.
”The future is short. Every summer we see what happens, but he still a contract one year from the end of the season. The club is happy and he is too. I see no problem.
”Will he finish at PSG? I don’t know.”
The former Inter Milan striker has scored 11 goals in 18 Ligue 1 appearances so far this term, putting PSG right into the midst of the French title race. The capital giants currently sit in second place in the table, one point behind leaders Olympique Lyonnais.
Laurent Blanc’s outfit also remain alive in the Champions League and will soon by travelling to Stamford Bridge where they face the unenviable task of overturning Chelsea following the Pensioners’ 1-1 draw in France. Zlatan has also demonstrated his worth once again in Europe’s elite continental competition, scoring twice in four starts.
