Manchester United Boss Believes Top Four Race Will Go Down To Final Weekend
The Merseyside club have gone 11 games unbeaten, and find themselves just two points off fourth placed United despite enduring a terrible first half of the season. Their victory over reigning Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday has sent a message to the rest of the top flight that this run is unlikely to end anytime soon.
The Mancunian team have struggled to impress so far this campaign, but have still been picking up results nonetheless. Despite this some fans are worried that the bubble could burst before the end of the campaign. If so the Reds would be in the perfect position to take advantage.
Neville said: “For the first time this season I am concerned as to whether Manchester United can fight them off in the scrap for the Champions League places. I’ve backed United all season, and I won’t be changing my mind at this stage, but it’s fair to say Liverpool have emerged as much more of a threat than I considered a few weeks ago.”
