Tottenham transfer news

GK: Paul Robinson

Once number one for Spurs and for England, Paul Robinson is now a backup goalkeeper for Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

DR: Alan Hutton

Tipped for great things in his early days at Tottenham, Alan Hutton is now at Aston Villa and not a particularly key player for the Premier League strugglers.

DL: Pascal Chimbonda

Probably the high point of his career, versatile defender Pascal Chimbonda is now with French Ligue 2 side AC Arles-Avignon.

DC: Ledley King

A hugely popular player and one-club man with Tottenham, injury forced Ledley King to retire young in the summer of 2012.

DC: Jonathan Woodgate

The matchwinner in extra time against Chelsea, Jonathan Woodgate is now aiming to return to the Premier League from Championship promotion-chasers Middlesbrough.

MC: Jermaine Jenas

A player seemingly in semi-retirement, Jermaine Jenas has worked as a pundit since being released by Queens Park Rangers due to persistent injury problems.

MC: Didier Zokora

A big player for Spurs back in those days, Ivory Coast midfielder Didier Zokora is now plying his trade with Turkish side Akhisar Belediyespor.

MR: Aaron Lennon

Remarkably still on the books at Tottenham, Aaron Lennon only left the club on loan to Everton this January, despite doing precious little for the team in recent seasons.

ML: Steed Malbranque

Back in France with Lyon after briefly retiring from the game, Steed Malbranque also had a reasonably successful spell at Sunderland following his time at White Hart Lane.

FC: Dimitar Berbatov

A player who reminded us all he existed this week with a goal in a superb win for AS Monaco at Arsenal in the Champions League, Tottenham legend Dimitar Berbatov scored a super cool penalty against Chelsea in the 2008 final.

FC: Robbie Keane

Starring in the MLS with LA Galaxy, Robbie Keane left Spurs the summer after their League Cup win, spending a disastrous six months at Liverpool before then returning to north London just six months later in a much less successful second spell.

Manager: Juande Ramos

With his League Cup win and bright start at Tottenham proving to be a VERY false dawn, the Spanish tactician has since had an unsuccessful stint at Real Madrid, followed by CSKA Moscow and Ukranian side Dnipro, whom he left at the end of last year. He is now a free agent.
