Mignolet is one of the most in-form goalkeepers in the Premier League.
Liverpool legend Ray Clemence has said that goalkeeper Simon Mignolet deserves credit for turning his season around after a horrendous period earlier in the campaign.
The Belgian was dropped by Brendan Rodgers in favour of back-up keeper Brad Jones and only returned to the side due to an injury suffered by the former Middlesbrough shot-stopper.
It seemed as though Mignolet’s future at Liverpool was unsafe, but his recent form is a direct reflection of the ‘keeper Rodgers thought he was getting when the club parted with £9m to sign him from Sunderland.

Mignolet has kept seven clean sheets in his last 15 games and looks comfortable in commanding his area.
“Simon deserves great credit for how he has turned things around,” Clemence told the Liverpool Echo.
“He’s making vital saves and helping his team win matches.
“It just shows what a difference confidence makes. He had a tough time earlier in the season.
“After being left out he had the bonus of coming back into the team earlier than he would have expected after Brad Jones got injured. Since returning to the team he has got better and better.”
Defensive solidity has been a crucial part of the resurgence of Liverpool and a top four place is firmly in their sights.
