Aston Villa 1-2 Stoke City

Chelsea 1-1 Burnley
Burnley took their first ever Premier League point of Burnley, who again had defender Branislav Ivanovic to thank for his goalscoring exploits. Ivanovic has now netted four times in his last six games in all competitions.
Crystal Palace 1-2 Arsenal
Palace hate playing Arsenal. The Gunners are now unbeaten in 11 matches against the Eagles, racking up eight wins in the process. Olivier Giroud moved onto 50 goals for Arsenal when he smashed home a rebound on the stroke of half time at Selhurst Park.
Hull City 2-1 Queens Park Rangers
QPR midfielder Joey Barton broke his run of picking up yellow cards in seven consecutive games by getting a straight red at Hull – the ninth dismissal of his career. Dame N’Doye was Hull’s hero. He has now scored two goals and provided one assist in two Premier League matches.
Sunderland 0-0 West Bromwich Albion
After this boring stalemate, Sunderland have now drawn 13 of their 26 Premier League games so far this term. No team has ever drawn as many as this in the opening 26 matches of a Prem season.
Swansea City 2-1 Manchester United
United captain Wayne Rooney registered his first Premier League shot on target of 2015 on Saturday. He had gone 560 minutes without one. Victory for the Swans means that they completed a league double over the Red Devils for the first time ever.
Manchester City 5-0 Newcastle United
Newcastle’s Vurnon Anita picked up the earliest yellow card of the Premier League season so far when he was booked inside the opening 40 seconds. City’s David Silva took his league goals tally to nine – his best in a single season since joining City.
Tottenham Hotspur 2-2 West Ham United
Cheikhou Kouyate’s opener at White Hart Lane was West Ham’s 15th headed goal in the Premier League this season. No other team has scored more this term. Liverpool scored the most headers in the 2013-14 campaign – 14. Spurs, who came back from 2-0 down, have now picked up 16 points from losing positions this season – more than any other top-flight side.
Everton 2-2 Leicester City
Roberto Martinez’s Everton, who led 1-0 in this game, have now dropped more points from winning positions than any other Premier League side this season – 17.
Southampton 0-2 Liverpool
Philippe Coutinho sent Liverpool on their way to victory with a long-range wonderstrike in the first half. It was his third league goal of the season, but just his first from outside the penalty area. Liverpool have now claimed 17 Premier League points in 2015 – two more than the next best team, which is Arsenal.
