So who is the mystery dream manager?
Following Harry Redknapp’s resignation, Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes tweeted that he had found his “dream manager”, only to then appoint Chris Ramsey as head-coach until the end of the season, leaving Hoops fans bemused as to the identity of the boss in question.
Tim Sherwood was heavily linked to the position, but with the former Tottenham Hotspur boss having been unveiled as Paul Lambert’s replacement at Aston Villa over the weekend, such speculation was quashed.

Chris Ramsey Given QPR Job Until End Of Season
Now it seems that Ramsey could be given the role beyond the end of this campaign – even if the club don’t survive their Premier League relegation-battle:
“When you’ve got someone like Chris Ramsey, I think the job is his for the taking and I don’t necessarily mean we have to stay up or whatever,” Fernandes told Sky Sports.
“Obviously we want to stay up and if we stay up Chris is going to be there automatically but it’s his job for the taking.”
“If you were in my position, what would you do? Look, if someone keeps us up now we would be nuts to change them, right?”
“But even if we don’t stay up – and we’ve got to be real about it – I think Chris still could be the man that takes us to the Promised Land.”
The 50-year-old, nevertheless, continued to discuss the “dream manager”, yet unsurprisingly failed to provide any hints as to who it might be:
“We spoke to about five people and no-one felt right at the time. One person did, and he was someone who I thought and still believe would be a dream manager for QPR.”
We wonder whether this dream could be a fantasy…
