For how much longer will Petr Cech continue to be a Chelsea player if he can’t force his way into the team…
Chelsea captain John Terry has revealed that Arsenal and Liverpool transfer target Petr Cech could well leave the club this summer, rather than continue his ongoing battle with Thibaut Courtois for a spot in the first-team.

The long-serving goalkeeper has around 18 months left on his current Stamford Bridge contract, with a number of teams expected to try and tempt the Blues into cashing in on the Czech international, rather than allow him to leave for free in 2016.
His current rival for the number one spot, Courtois, spent three years on loan at Atletico Madrid before belatedly being brought back into the first-team fold by Jose Mourinho at the start of the current campaign.
Cech was widely praised for his performance in the Premier League win over Everton last weekend, where he made several important saves before Willian’s late winner, but found himself back on the bench for Tuesday’s Champions League draw with Paris Saint Germain.
Terry, who was quoted by the Daily Star, said of Cech: “He is good enough to play for anyone. He’s been worth 10, 12 points to us every season. I have not spoken to him about it.
“He still has a lot to give and is fighting for his place, which is great. He’s not just given up and said, ‘The place is yours, Thibaut’. When he’s come in he’s been brilliant and given the manager food for thought.
“It’s unlucky for Petr because he made two unbelievable saves against Everton. I have seen a lot of players throw their toys out of the pram but Petr has been different class for the team, which has been important for the squad.
“Credit to him, he’s not even rumbled or sent shockwaves through the dressing room. The manager stresses the importance of the team coming first and he’s done that, Thibaut too. They’re both there for the whole squad. They have both been excellent.
“We have the two best keepers in the world in my opinion both fighting for one place – it’s difficult. You can’t keep them both happy. The manager manages to do it, I don’t know how.
“They want to play all the time but the two of them are at the top of their game. So rotating them at certain times and picking them is tough.”
