GK- Salvatore Sirigu
The Italian will be looking to bounce back after conceding two late goals in as many minutes at home to Caen in their previous game.
RB- Gregory Van Der Viel
The 27-year-old made his return in that draw with Caen with a substitute appearance after nearly a month out and is expected to make a return to the starting eleven against Chelsea
CB- Thiago Silva
The captain knows he’s in for a tough game defensively with the somewhat eccentric David Luiz expected to line up alongside him. Given Luiz’s ability to go AWOL, it will probably be Silva’s job to mark Diego Costa out of the game.
CB- David Luiz
It will be a big game for the centre back against his former club. He will likely be forced into playing as a more traditional centre back given Chelsea’s quality going forward.
LB- Maxwell
The 33-year-old has played in every game of this year’s competition for PSG but will be in for a tough evening with the skill and pace and Hazard and Willian.
CM- Marco Verratti
The Italian’s only goal for the club this season came in the 3-2 group stage victory over Barcelona, but he has collected plenty of yellow cards.
CM- Thiago Motta
Motta missed the disappointing draw against Caen, but is likely to make his return to the team against Chelsea.
CM- Blaise Matuidi
Matuidi scored what turned out to be the winner in the 3-2 win against Barcelona, but that remains his only goal of the season thus far.
ST- Ezequiel Lavezzi
Lavezzi has a poor goal return this season with only four to his name so far, but two in his last four games may suggest that he stands a chance of getting one against Chelsea.
ST- Edinson Cavani
Despite the fact that he and Ibrahimovic almost exclusively refuse to pass to each other, Cavani has had no trouble taking chances that do come his way this season with five goals in six Champions League appearances.
ST- Zlatan Ibrahimovic
The 33-year-old has only played three times in the Champions League this season but he does have two goals. His league form suggests that the Swede hasn’t lost his touch at all with eleven goals in seventeen appearances.
