Manchester United transfer rumours
The 22-year-old Spaniard was a new signing at Juventus, having made the switch from Real Madrid over the summer after being told he would not be given his desired amount of game time at the Bernabeu.
Morata has suffered a mediocre start to his Serie A career, bagging only eight goals in his first 26 appearances this season, but believes team-mate Paul Pogba will stay at the Italian side.
Speaking to the Spanish magazine, he said, “Yes, he is young and is among the best in the world, but very good at Juve with us.”
Pogba has been in good form this season, scoring seven goals and assisting three in 26 games, though if he is to move he will cost over £200 million according to his agent, media-friendly Mino Raiola.
The former Real Madrid striker’s own future is also in question, as Los Blancos implemented a buy-back clause in his transfer to the Italian giants, but he insists it isn’t on his mind and he is happy in Italy, “I don’t know the size of the release clause. Juventus and Real Madrid know but it’s not something I think about. I’m happy here.”
