Martin Skrtel was lucky to get away with what looked like an early handball.
But Palace weren’t complaining after Fraizer Campbell put them ahead after just 15 minutes, and it looked like the shock was on.

Adam Lallana completed the turnaround on 57 minutes, reacting first to a Julian Speroni spill. The Palace keeper will be red-faced at such poor keeping, although he wasn’t helped by a wet surface.
And that was enough to see Liverpool run out 2-1 winners and march on in the FA Cup.
