Manchester United could be set to invest a huge amount of money in a new-look strikeforce for next season as Louis van Gaal continues his pursuit for some of the world’s biggest names.

Recent reports suggest that two world class attackers are on the Dutchman’s agenda for the summer, with as much as £110m possibly set to go on signing just two players.
With Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie struggling to impress at Old Trafford this season, van Gaal now looks set to fix the problem with more big spending, with these the players in his sights:
1) Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain)
Also a target for Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani has been linked with a £60m move to United after struggling to reach his best form in Ligue 1.
2) Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund)
Another superb forward player, Marco Reus’ value has now shot up to around £50m after signing a new contract with Borussia Dortmund. Clubs still remain keen on him, however, and United can surely do what it takes to lure him to Old Trafford.
