Vladimir Marin, who scored the second goal for Independiente, was injured in the attack; with the Colombian star hit by a brick in his left eye.
Fortunately, the brick broke the window of the vehicle before hitting the face of the player. “He could have had dire consequences if it had hit him first,” explained the club doctor later.
