World’s Quickest Man Won’t Join Manchester United After Ferguson’s Retirement

Fergie was major pull-factor, speedster admits.

Manchester United fan and world-record sprinter Usain Bolt admits he has changed his mind about wanting to play for the club since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, according to the Daily Star.

The Jamaican, the highly successful Olympic sprinter and fastest man on the planet, has previously spoken of his desire to play for the Red Devils, but has been put off after Ferguson’s retirement and also the cold weather in Manchester.

“I’ve really been thinking about it but a few things have changed my mind – the fact that Sir Alex Ferguson’s retired and the cold weather. I’m not a fan of it,” he said.

“I did a shoot with [Sergio] Aguero, he’s also a Puma ambassador, we were in the kit and it was horribly cold in Manchester and I wasn’t really happy about that.”
