Madness!
Earlier this evening, we joked about reports linking Manchester United with a loan move for Bolton Wanderers left-back Andy Kellett.
We should not have laughed, because it’s just gone through!
The 21-year-old, who recently spent three months on loan at Plymouth Argyle in League Two, has joined the Red Devils until the end of the season.
United have sent midfielder Saidy Janko to the Trotters in return.
It is understood that Louis van Gaal has brought Kellett to Old Trafford because Under-21 manager Warren Joyce wanted to strengthen his side’s defence.
