Could that all change later today with a number of major deals still in the works. Here are ten switches that could happen:
10) Jay Rodriguez (Southampton to Tottenham Hotspur)
Despite the England international’s ongoing injury problems, Spurs seem eager to get this deal done and reportedly have money to spend.
9) Rickie Lambert (Liverpool to Crystal Palace)
The summer signings could find himself even further down the Anfield pecking order after the return of Daniel Sturridge. He’s a wanted man.
8) Yevhen Konoplyanka (Dnipro to Tottenham Hotspur)
Liverpool and Tottenham have both missed out on the Ukrainian in the past, but fresh reports are now linking the winger with a deadline move.
7) Aleksandar Dragovic (Dynamo Kiev to Manchester United)
Manchester United are desperate for defensive reinforcements, and the Austrian would certainly tick that box. Available at a decent price as well.
6) Anderson (Manchester United to Internacional)
The Old Trafford outcast is on the verge of seeing another transfer window come and go. United just haven’t been able to force him out thus far.
5) Kevin Mirallas (Everton to Tottenham Hotspur)
Since his penalty bust-up with Leighton Baines, his future has been up in the air. Spurs remain interested and will likely make a fresh approach.
4) Juan Cuadrado (Fiorentina to Chelsea)
This one looks an inevitability. Chelsea are desperate for a new right sided midfielder and will likely wrap this one up with time to spare.
3) Andre Schurrle (Chelsea to Wolfsburg)
The German World Cup winner will subsequently move away to free up space in the squad. His switch also looks to be close to completion.
2) Emmanuel Adebayor (Tottenham Hotspur to Paris Saint Germain)
The striker has become an unpopular figure at White Hart Lane in recent weeks, and few would miss him if PSG followed up their interest.
1) Danny Ings (Burnley to Liverpool)
There was plenty of speculation regarding this one last week. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will firm up that approach on Monday.
