Goalkeeper and defence:
Although Thibaut Courtois is having an excellent season for Chelsea, he remains something of a new kid on the block, while Manchester City’s Joe Hart just edges it for his experience and superb match-winning ability.
The rest of the defence is highly Blues-dominated as City have looked unconvincing at the back for much of the season.

Midfield:
In a controversial move, Yaya Toure sneaks past Nemanja Matic into this combined midfield. The Ivory Coast powerhouse has not been at his best this season, while Matic has been absolutely superb alongside Cesc Fabregas. Still, on his day, Toure is the superior player and one who can decide a match with a split-second of brilliance.
Attack:
With Sergio Aguero in a slightly unfamiliar role, Diego Costa takes the main striker role in this combined lineup, with team-mate Eden Hazard another easy selection behind him. Still, there is one more slightly controversial choice in the attacking midfield three as we opt for a certain City star over one of Chelsea’s in-form players.
