The Metro have linked Louis van Gaal to an attempt to sign Cavani in recent times, but it would now seem that he will have some competition from the Serie A giants. Not only that, but the Old Lady is also looking in to the availability of loanee Falcao. Apparently Juve were interested in both last summer, but have not had the money available to sign them until now. The potential sale of Paul Pogba could be key in any transfer.
United may not be too unhappy if someone takes Falcao before they can sign him permanently, as the Colombian hasn’t been in the best of form in the Premier League. He has only managed three goals in 15 appearances so far. This is in sharp contrast to his Uruguayan counterpart, who has scored fifteen times already this season.
