Everton news
Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk winger Konoplyanka has been on the verge of a move to England before, almost joining Everton’s fierce Merseyside rivals Liverpool 12 months ago before the deal collapse at the 11th hour as his club refused to sell.
With the 25-year-old’s deal now set to expire in just six months time, however, Dnipro could be tempted to cash in on the best offer that they receive in a bid not to lose their best player on a free transfer in the summer.
The Toffees appear to be leading the chase for the player as Roberto Martinez looks for solutions to the clear problems that have emerged in his squad this season, with last season’s surprise package now finding themselves in the bottom half of the Premier League and out of the FA Cup.
