You may remember young Celtic fan Jay Beatty from his friendship with current West Bromwich Albion forward Georgios Samaras, but now the Bhoys supporters have given the Down’s Syndrome sufferer something else to cheer about.

During the Scottish Premier League clash between Hamilton and the reigning champions on Saturday both sets of fans erupted into applause and singing as Jay netted a goal in front of the away support.
A spontaneous rendition of ‘We love you Jay, we do’ then started around New Douglas Park as the noise level continued to increase and the youngster basked in the glory and well and truly enjoyed his moment.
