Fernandinho’s expecting another entertaining game between the two sides.
Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho is expecting another entertaining game between his side and Arsenal when they meet at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, report the Express, with two or more goals having been scored in the last six meetings between the current Premier League champions and the Gunners.

The two sides drew 2-2 at the Emirates Stadium earlier in the season after a thrilling game that saw City equalise late on through Martin Demichelis and then come agonisingly close to winning the game, whilst City put six past Arsene Wenger’s side in the corresponding fixture last season.
Brazilian international Fernandinho, who scored in City’s last Premier League outing at Everton, believes that the attack minded nature of both sides is what has led to the succession of open encounters – and believes that little is set to change in this latest clash:
“Both City and Arsenal are attack-minded sides and that is good for us because when we meet teams with a similar mentality to ourselves we know we will have space to create chances – but by the same token, they are capable of doing the same because they have some great players, too.”
Visitors Arsenal could also be welcoming back some crucial attacking players from injury, with both Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil in contention to start, which could add an additional attacking edge to the Gunners’ game.
