Manchester United transfer news
The likes of Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao and Ander Herrera were brought in by the Red Devils in a spending spree this season, and the club are surely set to return to the big time if they manage to land these extraordinary transfer targets…
Goalkeeper and defence:
In defence, United want to add Borussia Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels for around £35m, while Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne is also being considered.
In goal, David de Gea is wanted by Real Madrid and his departure would mean he urgently needs replacing with quality, with a £25m target already linked with the club.

Midfield:
With Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera and Daley Blind performing well in midfield this season, someone might be unfortunate to be dropped by van Gaal, who is determined to sign AS Roma star Kevin Strootman.
Attack:
In an amazing front four to rival anything in the world, Gareth Bale is a £150m target for United and could be on his way to Old Trafford alongside £62m Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, if reports are to be believed. This deals would surely mean Radamel Falcao’s loan move is not made permanent, while raising doubts about Robin van Persie and Juan Mata as well.
