Jermain Defoe has landed back in the UK and has put the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, QPR, Hull and West Ham on high alert as he looks to earn a move back to the Premier League from MLS side Toronto FC, according to the Daily Express.

Defoe’s duties with the MLS outfit ended last month and now he is looking to secure a loan move back in England after falling out with his Canadian employers.
The former England striker has been working on his fitness in the south of France and now claims to be in the best condition of his life.
He tweeted: “Just touched down in the UK from south of France,was training with my fitness guy feeling stronger than ever! #Ready”
A number of top flight English sides are looking to bring him on board, but Liverpool are said to be favourites to secure his signature as they look to fill the void left by Daniel Sturridge, who has missed the bulk of the season with a series of injury concerns.
