However, there is no chance he could go to Paris St. Germain…

Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has revealed that the Portuguese could go to the MLS after he finishes his time at Real Madrid, reports AS.

Mendes has been the forward’s agent since the beginning of his career, and masterminded his moves to both Manchester United and Los Blancos. He also revealed at the same time that the player will not be moving to Paris Saint-Germain, as had been rumoured recently by several papers.

This is the first time that any plans to move to America have come up, and if Ronaldo were to move it would likely not be until his current contract ends in 2018. By that time he would be 33-years-old, and probably no longer able to play as much as he currently does.

“He will finish his career at Real Madrid, and after that, perhaps he will go to the United States. Only God knows what will happen,” Mendes told Telefoot, adding, “There is now way he will sign for Paris Saint-Germain, that’s impossible – including for Cristiano, someone for whom anything is possible.”

However, apparently the two-time Ballon d’Or winner would also like to continue in some kind of role at his current club, so any move to the MLS may just be an idea rather than a set in stone plan.
