8. Malcom Silva, Corinthians
At 17-years-old it’s likely that despite the fact this Brazilian has been impressing in his home nation he will simply become another one of the many loanees from Stamford Bridge.
7. Mauro Icardi, Inter Milan
Has not quite shown his true talent since arriving at the San Siro, but there is much expected from this young Argentina international – although his price-tag makes him something of a risk.
6. Anderson Talisca, Benfica
Jose Mourinho is a known admirer of this young and versatile forward, although like Malcom there is a high probability this 20-year-old would be sent immediately out on-loan.
5. Andrej Kramaric, HNK Rijeka
Has been impressing in his native Croatia, but it has taken some time for this 23-year-old to start showing his potential and switching to the English top tier will be a big step up and a stern test.
4. Mattia Destro, AS Roma
Not truly settled at the Stadio Olimpico, but with Mourinho needing a long-term replacement for veteran striker Didier Drogba he could do worse than this Italy international.
3. Raphael Varane, Real Madrid
With captain John Terry approaching the end of his career and Kurt Zouma the only backup in central defence currently signing a new centre-back might not be such a bad idea and this 21-year-old is hugely talented and has a good relationship with Mourinho.
2. Sami Khedira, Real Madrid
Another Madrid star now and a midfielder who’s current contract at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu expires at the end of the season and therefore Khedira could be available on the cheap and would compliment Cesc Fabregas or Nemanja Matic perfectly.
1. Marco Reus, Borussia Dortmund
Yet for sheer talent we have put Reus top of our list and alongside Eden Hazard and another in attacking midfield the West Londoners could become unstoppable and with Dortmund struggling in the Bundesliga there is every chance the 25-year-old will leave.
