GK: David de Gea – Made some good saves from Christian Eriksen and Andros Townsend to prevent Tottenham nicking it in the second half. 7/10.
DR: Antonio Valencia – Subbed off injured at half time to be replaced by Rafael, but a decent first half performance, particularly going forward. 6/10.
DL: Ashley Young – A fine game from Ashley Young who continues to look lively and effective in his new wing-back role. 7/10.
DC: Paddy McNair – A solid game from the youngster, who has continued to settle in well as part of the United first-team. 7/10.
DC: Jonny Evans – A good game for Jonny Evans, though he didn’t always have a great deal to do at the back. 6.5/10.

DC: Phil Jones – An improved performance from the inconsistent Phil Jones, who had a decent chance to score in the first half, but was offside. 6.5/10.
DM: Michael Carrick – Some good passing and protection in front of his back four, but not able to influence things further forward. 6.5/10.
MC: Juan Mata – One of the real bright sparks, Juan Mata linked up play superbly and was involved in all of United’s best moves. 7/10.
MC: Wayne Rooney – A decent effort from Wayne Rooney, but not his most influential game in a new central midfield role. 6/10.
FC: Radamel Falcao – A quiet game overall from the Colombian international, who seemed to slow down United’s attacks when on the ball. 5.5/10.
FC: Robin van Persie – Not his best performance upfront, with a few missed chances when put through on goal by his team-mates. 5.5/10.
