Here are six Liverpool academy players that you should definitely look out for courtesy of Empire of the Kop:
6) Jordan Rossiter
His sleight build has prompted questions over whether he will ever be able to compete in the Premier League, but technically Rossiter is fantastic.
Still just 17-year-old, he has plenty of time to hone his skills and grow into a complete footballer.
The club clearly have faith in him, as they handed him a first team debut in the League cup earlier this season.
5) Pedro Chirivella
Touted as “the next Xabi Alonso,” Chirivella is hot property at the moment. He has already been linked with a move back to Spain, with Real Madrid credited with an interest.
Liverpool will do their best to hold on to him however, with the technically gifted midfielder showing huge potential.
4) Jerome Sinclair
The youngest player ever to represent the first team, the youngster is a fantastic prospect and is quickly becoming a top quality striker.
With Liverpool currently struggling for goals it would be nice to see him given a chance, but he will more than likely be shipped out on loan instead.
3) Yan Dhanda
A left-sided winger who likes to cut in and shoot on his right, Dhanda is full of pace and has excellent dribbling skills.
Looking likely to become the first ever player of Indian heritage to play for Liverpool, the Under-17s star is a definite star of the future.
2) Harry Wilson
The 17-year-old may not have played for the Liverpool first team just yet, but he is already a full international for Wales.
He is two footed and has pace to burn, and can operate equally well on either wing.
1) Sheyi Ojo
Hands down the most likely player to break into the Liverpool first team this season, Ojo’s potential appears endless.
A fast and powerful forward, he can play anywhere along the front line and arguably already should have been given a shot.
Having already represented England at varying youth levels, it is only a matter of time before he makes the step up.
