A number of top Premier League clubs are on alert for Real’s available stars, who include big names such as Gareth Bale, Sami Khedira and Isco, according to various recent reports.

Still, the Spanish giants are always a likely destination for some of the world’s biggest names, and this is how they could look to enhance their options next season, if rumours are to be believed…

Goalkeeper and defence:

With doubts over Iker Casillas’ suitability as Real Madrid’s number one after his recent decline, it has been suggested that Manchester United’s in-form shot-stopper David de Gea could be brought to the Bernabeu as his replacement in goal. Elsewhere in defence, things look largely the same with the team already enjoying a strong set of players in all positions.

Manchester United transfer news

Midfield:

In a new-look midfield, Bale’s departure would supposedly lead to the club moving for Chelsea star Eden Hazard in a big-money move. The Belgian international could take up a role on the left or in a variety of attacking midfield roles, rotating with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez. Replacing Khedira, it is thought that Real could beat Arsenal and Manchester United to the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Lucas Silva.

Attack:

With speculation that star striker Karim Benzema could leave for the right price, it is thought that Manchester City goal machine Sergio Aguero is the club’s top target in that part of the pitch, though Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus has also been linked with the Spanish giants as his future in Germany looks in serious doubt. Still, it is unlikely that even Real Madrid would find a place for both players.
