The 17-year-old striker has scored 22 goals for the club’s Under-21 side this term, showing superb natural ability in finding the back of the net on a regular basis.
Championship side Fulham are also keeping an eye on Agyei’s situation, though it is thought that he is keen to stay with Wimbledon for the time being and continue his development with regular playing time.
Still, Chelsea are ready to snap him up this January but loan him back to the League 2 side in order to give him the opportunities he craves at this young age.
The Blues are not known for handing too many opportunities to young players, though manager Jose Mourinho did a hand a debut to one of the club’s academy products Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the Champions League this week, and has spoken of his desire to use his youth team more.
