Chelsea’s predicted lineup against Sporting Lisbon:
GK) Petr Cech
Having found himself displaced by Thibaut Courtois this season, the experienced shot-stopper should get a game against Sporting.
RB) Cesar Azpilicueta
With Branislav Ivanovic playing a huge number of games this season, the tough tackling Serbian is likely to be given a rest; with Azpilicueta returning to his favoured right-back position.
CB) Kurt Zouma
The young centre-back is seen as the future of Chelsea’s defence, and will get a game while John Terry is rested.
CB) Gary Cahill
With few other options, Cahill should continue in the centre of defence.
LB) Filipe Luis
The Brazilian should get a rare game at left-back with a number of key players being rested.
