GK – Wojciech Szczesny

Occasionally erratic, but Arsene Wenger is a big fan of this goalkeeper and don’t expect him to be replaced anytime soon.

RB – Mathieu Debuchy

Currently injured this right-back had been impressing up until then after signing from Newcastle United over the summer.

CB – Vlad Chiriches

Essentially warming the bench at Tottenham Hotspur currently this centre-back has been linked by the Daily Express to making the trip across North London.

CB – Laurent Koscielny

Without having to cover for Per Mertesacker’s lack of pace Koscielny would have more freedom at the back.

LB – Kieran Gibbs

An academy player who Wenger is also a great supporter of and Gibbs has even been earning international caps this term.

CM – Sami Khedira

Strongly linked with the North Londoners having entered the final year of his current contract with Real Madrid and the Guardian thinks Wenger could land the 2014 World Cup winner.

CM – Aaron Ramsey

Although hasn’t recreated the brilliant form the Welshman showed last season, Ramsey is still the most exciting midfielder at the club.

RM – Alexis Sanchez

Since arriving from FC Barcelona in a £35m summer deal this Chile international has been essentially single-handedly dragging the team along.

CAM – Mesut Ozil

May not have quite lived up to the expectations of him following a club record £42.4m transfer from Real Madrid in 2013, but Ozil certainly possesses the quality to do so.

LM – Julian Draxler

Long linked with the North London side the Mirror says Wenger is ready to head back to Schalke 04 to sign this youngster and add to the German contingent at the Emirates.

ST – Danny Welbeck

Has impressed since a deadline day move from Manchester United and his power and pace fit right into the team’s ideology.
