2) Radamel Falcao (Manchester United)
A player who has cost Manchester United around £6m just to take on loan for the season, it is reported that Arsenal were also in the running to sign Radamel Falcao this summer. Although a deal for the Colombian international looked a no-brainer given his superb goalscoring record at his other clubs, Arsenal once again dodged a real bullet here as the 28-year-old has been a massive disappointment since moving to Old Trafford. Plagued by injuries and unconvincing on the pitch so far, there is now some doubt as to whether or not United will push through to keep Falcao permanently, as he still only has one solitary goal to his name for the Red Devils so far.
